Chingri Maachh is a service provided by Neem Tree (ABN 84625406700). Its purpose is to provide an online community platform to South Asian expatriates in Australia. Indian, Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi, and Sri Lankan residents and students in Australia should use Chingri Maachh to get information regarding the logistics of relocation, activities in their Australian cities, and share their own experiences.

Roadmap

Chingri Maachh went live in April 2007. Apart from the published 'New Expats' information pages, the remaining content is expected to be member generated. While the site tools can be used to post a variety of informaion, we would like to encourage contributors/members to:

• respond to requests for information in the discussion forums
• share their own preparation activities and learnings via their blog
• share their Aussie experiences on their blog
• promote offline community building by posting relevant events

We expect to adjust/add/remove features as Chingri Maachh member participation and feedback grows.
